A coral reef research team at San Diego State University is building floating structures called “Coral ARKs” to learn more about the conditions coral reefs need to thrive, as well as promote coral restoration. The team used an Eco current profiler to choose optimal sites for these ARKs and learn more about the conditions these communities will be created in.
